Western Australia grid connect rebate for fringe of grid

The rebate for grid connect solar systems in specific 'fringe of grid' areas of the South West electricity grid or Western Australia is 50% (ex GST). This is available from the Rural Renewable Energy Program provides 

This rebate is available for renewable energy power systems with a rated capacity of between 500W and 30kW.  Rebates of 50% of the capital cost of eligible systems are available, up to a maximum of $150,000.

50% rebate is available for the following Eligible equipment and services:

•     Renewable energy generating equipment such as wind turbines and photovoltaic arrays
•     Other parts of the installation such as batteries, battery chargers and inverters.
•     The installation and design of the system
